Written statement of terms.

From 1 May 2026 a landlord must give a new tenant the required terms in writing before they move in. Answer the questions and give the document to your tenant. Some of the eighteen are written in for you, because the law fixes what they say: repairs, pets, how rent can be increased, how the tenancy can end.
