Rent increase notice, Form 4A.

From 1 May 2026 the only lawful way to raise the rent on a private tenancy in England is Form 4A, served at least two months ahead, at the start of a rent period, and no more than once in 52 weeks. Fill this in and the dates are checked as you type.
